Warwick is committed to offering a scholarship that makes it easier for gifted, ambitious international learners to pursue their academic interests at one of the UK’s most prestigious universities. Record has it that in 2023 Warwick awarded scholarships amounting to about £1.5 million to students from more than 40 different nationalities worldwide. This included 20 full-fee scholarships, 160 half-fee scholarship and 70 £2,000 awards. It is planned that more number of scholarships will be awarded in 2024.

Full-fee scholarships, half-fee scholarship and £2,000 awards are all available depending on the category a student is offered.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship, you must:
- Be self-funded.
- Be classed as an ‘overseas’ or ‘international-fee paying’ student for tuition fee purposes.
- Have applied for a full-time undergraduate course at the University of Warwick starting in Autumn 2024 before the UCAS application deadline of 31 January 2024.
- Submit a scholarship application before 12:00pm on Wednesday 20th March 2024 BST
- Be in receipt of an offer of a place to study at Warwick starting September 2024 by 16th May 2024 you must.
How to apply for Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship
For you to apply for the scholarship you must first set up an IT account which can take up to 48 hours to verify. Upon setting up the IT account many of the application fields will be completed for you and any areas that need supporting information or statements from you will be clearly indicated on the application form.
Applicants will be required to answer the question “What makes you excellent?” The objective of the question is to learn more about what motivates you, how your excellence might benefit the Warwick community and how you hope your learning and experience at Warwick will help you make the World a better place once you graduate. Answers can reference academic attainment, extracurricular successes and personal achievement but should not be a copy of the personal statement. You may write in essay or extended bullet point form but please don’t simply write a list. You should provide context and relevance to the objectives above. Responses are limited to 400 words.
