Heinrich Böll Foundation Scholarships in Germany
The Heinrich Böll Foundation offers approximately 1,200 scholarships annually to ambitious undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral students of all subjects and nationalities. It is required that these students should pursue their degree at state or state-recognized universities in Germany. These scholarships are only awarded to students with outstanding academic records. Eligible students must also be politically and socially engaged, while showing interests in values like ecology, sustainability, democracy, self-determination, human rights, and justice.
Selected students get €850 each per month and other individual allowances. On the other hand, EU students of the same level of study will receive €649 plus €300 book money monthly. It is awarded for the regular period of study with the possibility of extension by one semester subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Doctoral students coming from countries outside of the European Union, will receive €1,200 per month, in addition to €100 monthly mobility allowance and other individual allowances. The Deutschlandstipendium National Scholarship Prpogramme offers financial support to ambitious and academically outstanding students from all countries of the world. The programme supports students at all participating universities in Germany without taking into consideration their nationalities, personal or parent income. The scholarship is made possible through a public-private collaboration whereby businesses, foundations, or individuals sponsor students with a sum of €150 per month while the Federal Government adds another €150 making it a total of €300. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarships in Germany for International Students
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship is available for students with above average academic achievements with keen interests in politics. This scholarship programme aims at promoting foreign students and doctoral candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate studies in their home country.
